KLA 2022 CONFERENCE |
Theme: Libraries: Rebuilding & Reconnecting Date: October 26-28, 2022 Location: Hyatt Regency Convention Center, Wichita, Kansas Due to the pandemic, libraries made adjustments to programs and services, which often negatively impacted usage. As libraries return to the new “Covid” normal, staff must rebuild and reconnect, with both patrons and our communities. Attendees are encouraged to submit proposals that align with this theme. For example, program proposals could highlight: the new programs and services that are bringing patrons back into the building, how programs were evaluated during the rebuilding process, ways to take care of your staff’s wellbeing, how to get back into the community and amp up outreach, etc. Contact Us: Questions about proposals: Janelle Mercer (jmercer@wichita.gov), or Martha House (mhouse@cgrove417.org). If you have general KLA Conference questions, please contact Shanna Smith-Ritterhouse (director@mulvanelibrary.org).
