Communities of Practice

Communities of Practice are wholly volunteer organizations without membership fees. These organizations are formed to provide a forum for discussion and activity around a particular area of librarianship. Communities of Practice will have a chair to organize meeting, conferenc activities, and other opportunities as the group sees fit. There are currently five Communities of Practice which are: Government Documents, Interlibrary Loan, Technology, Technical Services, and Library Instruction. You must be a member of KLA to join a Community of Practice.
