The Kansas Library Association 2017 Conference is just around the corner. Mark your calendars for October 25-27th, 2017. We are still making changes to our new website so check back here often for updates on registration, schedule of events, accommodations, and more.

 

CALL FOR PROPOSALS

We are accepting submissions for all of the following types of proposals: breakout sessions, business/section meeting, pre-conferences, user’s groups, and networking events.  This year’s theme is:  Libraries Transform Learning.

PROPOSALS ARE DUE  BY JUNE 16, 2017.
Deadline for proposals has been extended to July 7th, 2017.

Poster Session – Call for Proposals

Do you have an idea or program that you would like to share with your colleagues? What are some innovative or exciting things that are happening in your library? Do you want to share your ideas but not in a full program presentation? Use the Kansas Library Conference (KLC) Poster Session to share your ideas and interact with library colleagues from around the state.

The KLC poster session planning committee invites you to participate in the KLC Poster Session on Thursday, October 26th during the Kansas Library Conference. Sponsored by the Emporia State University School of Library and Information Management, posters will be judged in three categories: Student poster, Academic / Special Library poster, and Public / School Library poster. The top poster in each of the three categories will receive a $100 award. Awards will be presented during the KLC Awards Ceremony.

Poster Session proposals submission due date: Friday, September 1, 2017
Poster Session acceptance notification: Friday, September 15, 2017
